Admissions

From the academic year 2024 onwards, the annual intake for the MBBS programme has been increased to 200 seats with the approval of the National Medical Commission (NMC), India.

Postgraduate courses have been introduced across nearly all clinical, para-clinical, and non-clinical departments. In addition, several departments have received approval for an increase in their existing postgraduate seat capacity.

Curriculum

The undergraduate and postgraduate curricula are structured as per the standards and recommendations laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC), India, ensuring comprehensive, competency-based medical education.

Examinations

Government Medical College, Ananthapuramu is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh. All examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students are conducted by the University as per its regulations and academic calendar.
