Dr. M. Vijaya Sree is a distinguished academician and medical educator with over 27 years of teaching experience in the field of pathology. She is presently serving as the Principal of Government Medical College, Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, a position she has held since 6th September 2025. Prior to her current role, Dr. Vijaya Sree served as Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology, as well as Academic Vice Principal at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. She obtained her MBBS degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, and completed her MD in Pathology at Guntur Medical College, Guntur, under Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada. She is registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council, Hyderabad (Registration No. 20527). Dr. Vijaya Sree began her government medical service on 17th July 1998 as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Guntur Medical College, and steadily progressed through the academic ranks, serving as Associate Professor from 5th May 2004 to 5th September 2015, and as Professor from 6th September 2015 to the present. She has actively enhanced her expertise through several prestigious faculty development programs, including the Training to Teachers (T2T) program conducted by Harvard University in collaboration with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTR UHS). With over 30 research publications to her credit, she has made significant contributions to medical education, research, and scholarly advancement. Her leadership extends across both academic and administrative domains, having served as Chairperson of the Academic Senate and Board of Studies (II MBBS) at Dr. NTR UHS, as well as Member of the Board for Paramedical Courses of the same university. She has also served as a Zonal Coordinator for Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs in Pathology and played an active role as a member of the Medical Education Unit and Institutional Ethics Committee at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, contributing to the promotion of quality teaching and ethical research practices. At Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, she played an active role as a member of the Medical Education Unit and the Institutional Ethics Committee, contributing significantly to the enhancement of teaching standards and the promotion of ethical research practices. She also served as Vice Principal (Academic) from 9th September 2024 to 5th September 2025, effectively balancing administrative responsibilities with academic leadership.

About Superintendent

Dr. K. L. Subramanyam is a distinguished academician and medical educator with over 25 years of teaching experience in the field of Anaesthesiology. He is currently serving as the Superintendent of Government Medical College, Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. Prior to this, he held the position of Deputy Superintendent at the PMSSY Super Speciality Hospital, Ananthapuramu. Dr. K. L. Subramanyam earned both his MBBS and MD (Anaesthesiology) degrees from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, under the aegis of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, and is registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council, Hyderabad (Reg. No. 36827). He began his government medical service as a Tutor and steadily advanced through various academic ranks, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor, demonstrating exceptional dedication and leadership throughout his career.
